I like this quote because it reminds me that godly friendships are not always easy to maintain and to grow. What seemed like two very similar people will only prove to be otherwise when they truly know each other. And when the stark difference meets them in the face, there’s only two options available: love, and see the relationship continue to grow, or revert to selfishness, and see the relationship stagnate or fizzle, all because of wanting everyone to be like me.
