Prosperity and Poverty

“but when they had grazed, they became full,
they were filled, and their heart was lifted up;
therefore they forgot me.
Hosea 13:6

Material prosperity is often the catalyst for spiritual poverty.

Too much food, too much money, too much fun, too much pleasure, too much sex, too much of anything dulls our hunger for Jesus.

Let us consider our ways lest we be swept in our own apathy.
