Destined for Significance

I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide.

John 15:16

Your life and your work matter. They really do.

We often admire and are inspired by people in history books and in magazine and think they are the only ones who have made a difference in the world. But the truth is, God has called every Christian to do great and significant things in their lives.

Jesus, in this passage, is telling his disciples that they are appointed and chosen to bear lasting fruit.

Whoever is following and working for Jesus is in the business of doing significant and eternally-impacting things.

If you are serving Jesus, your life and your work really matter because the God who gave you to do those things has destined your life and the things you do for significance!
